As we have waited patiently over the past few months to get the bugs worked out of the coding for our new website, I have been continuously thinking about what this first blog post would say. I wanted it to be full of all these amazing things about green landscapes and bright flower colors. Unfortunately, things do not always go as hoped!

Although we had a relatively standard winter for Middle TN, we are seeing a more than average increase in insect activity this year. With slugs and grasshopper munching on even the most resilient of the Rose Family (Knockouts), Bagworms devouring evergreens like a blight of African Locusts, and aphids sucking the lifeblood out of azaleas, you would think we are in some B Rated Horror Film from the 1950's. Sadly, we aren't.

Please keep a watch on your plant material, and let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary. Modern Chemistry is an amazing thing when it comes to eradicating these pesky critters in a safe way, and Enviro-Scapes, LLC has the tools to do the job. Contact us through our website ( www.enviro-scapesllc.com ) or by calling our office directly at 615.872.0008

In the mean time, enjoy your landscaping! After all, isn't that why you are spending your hard earned money?
